Thematic Pathways

Exploring the Pathways

For January 5-7, hybrid style presentations (Concurrent Panels, Flash Talks, and Poster Presentations) have been assigned to one of nine ‘Thematic Pathways’, represented by the letter next to their title. Participants can use the thematic pathways as a guide to find the content that interests them most and make connections in their field.

At the end of the day January 5 and 6, 4:00-5:00 p.m. ET, presenters and participants will come together for Pathway Synthesis Workshops, to create real outcomes and drive deeper thematic discussions. Each participant can participate in one workshop per day, as workshops will run concurrently.

Tuesday the 5th will feature five Pathway Synthesis Workshops to choose from. Each one will each cover a different thematic pathway- A, B, C, D, or E.

  • A: Addressing Water Scarcity

  • B: Data and Technology Innovation for Climate Solutions and Sustainability

  • C: Traversing the Science Policy Interface in the Context of a Changing Climate

  • D: Diverse Perspectives and Shared Approaches in Resilience and Sustainability
