Project Drawdown is a nonprofit organization that seeks to help the world reach “Drawdown”—the future point in time when levels of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere stop climbing and start to steadily decline. Since the 2017 publication of the New York Times bestseller Drawdown, the organization has emerged as a leading resource for information and insight about climate solutions.

2021 Conference Focus

We are bringing together leaders, research partners, scientists, decision-makers and friends from across the globe to share their science and solutions to the world's most pressing global challenges. This joint conference will

  • focus on the physical and social realities of climate change and the way this impacts people, ecosystems, markets and the places people live; and

  • how implementing climate solutions produces positive co-benefits to society, the economy, and the planet.

Be real. Stay grounded.

Explore the physical & social
realities of a changing climate.

How are the pressures of extreme heat changing where people live and how they work?

How are water scarcity and rising temperatures altering our global food system?

How can we incorporate changing ecological systems into social and political institutions?
